Mark a message read

POST https://api.unpoll.cc/v1/agents/{id}/read

Use the agent's API key and the data.id of a message that the WhatsApp user sent to this agent.

Fields

Field	Type	Rules
`message_id`	string, required	ID (`wamid`) of the received message to mark read.
`typing`	boolean, optional	Default `false`. Also show a typing indicator for up to 25 seconds, or until you reply, whichever comes first.

Show a typing indicator only when you intend to reply. For a reply that takes longer than 25 seconds, repeating the call refreshes it, subject to the read-call rate limit.

Response and retries

Returns 200 with:

Repeating the call is harmless, so it is safe to retry. Observe Retry-After on retryable errors. Read calls have their own 12-per-minute per-agent allowance, separate from sends and media downloads. Request bodies are limited to 64 KiB.
